The reserve Bank of India has issued directives on adoption of KYC norms to all Urban Co-operative banks. These norms ensure identification of customers, verification of their addresses and in short verifying the genuinity of customers and of their transactions.

Accordingly, we request our customer to complete the declaration given below, which confirms that the information available on the records is correct. We also request our customers to please provide a self attested copy of ID and Address documents listed in declaration alongwith a recent coloured passport size photograph to the nearest branch of the Pondicherry Co-operative Urban Bank by post or in person.

List of acceptable documents:

Identity Proof: (Any one of below documents)

1. PAN Card.
2. Driver’s License
3. Voter’s ID Card
4. Passport
5. One recent colour passport size photograph

Address Proof: (Any one of below documents)

1. Valid Passport/Driver’s License
2. Utility Bill not more than 3 months old (Electricity, Telephone, Water, Gas etc.,)
3. Ration Card
4. Bank Account statement printed on Bank’s letter head
